Hi folks! Blog Azeroth gave a challenge to do 50 screenshots of Azeroth and post it on our blog sites. I enlisted because I am also a hobby photographer, so this was another interesting medium for me to explore photography in. I have seen some people post absolutely beautiful screenshots, and want to share some of mine for November!
Also, as a shout out, November is also when people grow moustaches for charity and to promote awareness for Prostate cancer. Thanks for participating, it’s been fun seeing people with moustaches. *snickers*
I’ll also be throwing in commentaries of fun memories I’ve had during my time at different places. Here we go!
*WARNING: IMAGE HEAVY*
The above pictures that I have posted so far are reminiscent of where I live in the country of Canada. I have regretfully not been to the east side of my country more often to appreciate more of it. The tiny lighthouses and docks you see throughout the world remind me of the fishery industry that also operate in Eastern Canada. The mountains and pine trees are what I’m more accustomed to with great lakes dotted throughout.
I used to work at a skiing resort in Alberta when I was younger, back in the hey days of discovering what I wanted to do before university. I lived right at the base of the mountain, some thousands feet up and woke up to the mountains everyday. Night time there was truly one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had in my life and I got to live that every night. I lived so near to the moon and the thousands of stars that inhabited the sky surrounded by what I loved so much, the snow capped mountains reaching for the sky.
The mountains in Northrend reminds me very much of the mountains I live near at home out in the West. Now on to the next:
I always regarded the Dragonblight as one of the worst places to be. You see enormous remainders of what used to be Dragons, corpses spread out throughout Dragonblight. Not to go into the lore here, but it was also one of the most interesting places that intrigued me. In my research about Dragonblight, it also led me to reading about the Aspects. I gained greater respect for the Dragons and will always regard Dragonblight with sorrow.
Yeah, Naxxramas looming over an helpless Alliance town, but not all hope is lost for there is still beauty to behold…
I miss Dalaran. Ever since Orgrimmar and Stormwind became the capital city for the Horde and Alliance respectively, Dalaran has become deserted. It’s a shame because Dalaran was a bustling place where both sides met to do business and interact in pvp down in the sewers. I liked watching the flight master’s circle to see what kind of mount people used once they arrived at the flight master. I liked to hang out near the horde and looking at their gear, marvelling at how different they look. It holds many good memories for me and Dalaran will always have a special place in my heart
This is the stone that I have probably clicked on the most in my raiding career. I literally squealed like a little girl when my raid group finally downed the Lich King after months of raiding him. This also signaled the end of my good friend, Niero’s career as a holy paladin who swore he was going to quit the game after he killed the LK with us. He was also my arena partner and we played in random battlegrounds a lot. To say I miss him is an understatement. Hats off to one of the best holy paladins I ever knew and it was a pleasure having him as a healing partner. Moving on..
Phew, that will be all for now. I’ll be posting the last of it soon. Thanks for checking my pictures out, I hope you enjoyed them too! In the mean time, go check out other bloggers’ screenshots here!
Meet Miriamerle, my brand new priest!
With the off-season happening while we await the release of Mists of Pandaria, I’ve been levelling Miriamerle. My desire to learn more about priests and their styles of healing is why I decided to roll one! It’s been so much fun just logging in for a couple of hours once in a while and heal dungeons. I’m really liking playing the Discipline spec… .. Continue reading >>

So many pretty shots!
Thanks! I am putting the rest of them up today, stay tuned
It’s much harder than it sounds, hehe.
Now, I know my screenshots and how I like them. With no exception, these are stunning. You seem to have a really unique style and angle on scenes. It’d be great to see more!
Stunning,

Thank you Jasmin
Your screenshots look so much like RL photography. Hats off to the imagery you’ve provided.
Thank you, Shoryl!
Beautiful! Love the Crystalsong, and Darn fountain!
Great SS’s! One small typo worth a chuckle: Malfurion and Tyrael? =P So apparently the Emerald Dream takes us to Sanctuary eh? (Tyrande)
Haha! Thanks, I’ll be sure to correct that when I get home from work
