A heartfelt thank you note

Dear EtD:

Thank you for being so patient and kind to me throughout our progression into Dragon Soul.  I know there has been some frustrations not being able to communicate with me when I struggled on Blackhorn and Spine.  Many of you came up with ideas like making a /rw macro for blue and red side for Deathwing’s Barrel Roll.  Thank you for your faith in me that I can keep up and letting me know I’m doing a good job.  It hasn’t been easy trying to do this on my own and I wanted to let you know your ideas and helpful suggestions have been invaluable to me as a raider.  Thank you, EtD,  for being so understanding…. and congrats to everyone for the kills so far in Dragon Soul!  <3

Dear Resto Druid community:

It has also been a struggle for me readjusting to using more of my HoTs after Wild Growth got nerfed.  I am basically relearning how to use more Rejuvenates and lean more on hasted Nourishes if there are more than 3 rejuves rolling.  Thank you for your invaluable research and posts on the Wild Growth nerf.  It’s been a pinch but I am getting by on Aidrana, thanks to the great work everyone has done in theory crafting our druids to become the best we can be!

Dear WoW blogosphere:

I can’t tell you how much I continue to be amazed every day by the WoW community.  I am absolutely in awe of the wonderful stories some people write, and the stunning artwork other people do on their blogs.  Some bloggers have been going through some really tough times and it is so great seeing people recieve so much support during hard times.  I have not been around for long- this blog is honestly only two months old, although I owned the domain for a few years.  I was instantly welcomed with open arms when I joined Blog Azeroth looking to meet new bloggers, and to say I felt welcome would be an understatement.

I feel overwhelmed by everyone’s compliments on the work I’ve done so far, and I wanted to thank you for that.  Thank you for all the Retweets and leaving so many thoughful comments on my posts reaching out to me.  I did not expect such a outpouring of love upon me from the WoW community, and it’s been an amazing journey for me.  I have truly enjoyed meeting all of you, and look forward to many months of interacting with you through our blogs, and perhaps in-game!

On a ending note, I wanted to make a thank you note to everyone and realized there were so many people, so this turned into a letter for everyone.  Make sure you avoid drunk gnomes and goblins, you never know what they’ll do when they’re smashed on egg nog, no matter how cute they might be.   Also, don’t forget to hand your mounts to a designated rider and get alternative transportation.. please don’t drink and drive!  Have a very Merry Christmas to every one out there, and here’s some cheer to a New Year of blogging and raiding :)

@Navimie Come on now, haven’t you heard Jamin’s new name is Jasmin. Lol, lovingly given due to a mix up that has stuck around.

    Aidrana,

To hear that you are actively and warming engaging and joining the community that is Blog Azeroth and the rest of the WoW family is awesome. We are the strange family that lights fireworks underneath each others mounts, and spikes the Eggnog of others unknowingly during Winter Veil events. So welcome again and glad to converse in the Twittersphere as well.

A heart of thanks and a humble spirit are a guaranteed way to lead to epic friendships and Dwarf sized moments of laughter. Looking forward to all that you have and bring to the table.

I wish I could write as well as you can! I’ve come to your blog a few times and really enjoy the stories you’ve been writing, especially the one where you’re incorporating your fellow bloggers in. That’s just so creative, Draccus. Thanks for the welcome, but beware for I might be the one spiking your eggnog ;)

Nice to see another DPS converted to resto healing. :D My story is similar to yours as I abandoned my warlock in the midst of tier 11 rading.

Btw, I really like the look of your blog!

    • http://www.misspewpew.com/ Aidrana

Definitely, I switched mostly because the demand for healers were so high!

Thank you, I hope you’ll enjoy my upcoming posts :)
