I haven’t decided what I’m going to start with in this post. Hi folks,
I have been a tad bit absent in the last while since the last time I published a couple of articles about subtitles in games. Most specifically, SW:TOR not having the option for their computer generated movies. I have not heard anything from EA or Bioware whether they intend to rectify the situation. Dear Bioware/Electronic Arts,
I am a deaf gamer who have been a loyal customer to your company for many years. I have played many of your games, from Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights to Star Wars: The Old Republic. I run the site, http://www.misspewpew.com- a site mainly focusing on WoW with some coverage on general gaming. It is my wish to eventually include other games, like SW:TOR. As some of you may already know, I’m deaf. I use American Sign Language to communciate, as my main means of communciation. When I raid, I don’t use vent and instead rely on my addons to get around in raids. When I talk to people who don’t know sign language, I depend on good old pen and paper to chat with them.
I use a hearing aid in my left ear, the only ear that has a little hearing left. My right ear is completely deaf- so deaf that not even hearing aids help. I’m telling you this because I.. .. Continue reading >>
